Dr. Baird is a Spokane native who is one of seven children who graduated from Mead High School. He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in German Linguistics from Brigham Young University while also preparing for dental school.

Dr. Baird earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Texas A&M University College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, graduating at the top of his class. He spent the next several years in Cleveland, Ohio completing his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Case Western Reserve University. As part of this dual degree program, he also earned his Doctor of Medicine Degree and completed a general surgery internship at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.

Throughout residency, Dr. Baird trained extensively in full scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, including general anesthesia and sedation, complex dental extraction and implant surgery, corrective jaw surgery, sleep apnea surgery, temporomandibular joint surgery, pathology, and trauma & reconstructive surgery. His rigorous training prepared him with the skills to treat patients with a wide variety of dental and facial conditions. In addition to providing exceptional care to our Inland Oral Surgery patients, Dr. Baird is also a facial trauma surgeon at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Providence Holy Family Hospital.

Dr. Baird and his wife Sarah are happy to be back home in Spokane with their three children to enjoy the lakes and mountains of the Inland Northwest, and they look forward to continue to serve the community. Dr. Baird is accepting new adult and pediatric patients for general and complex oral and maxillofacial procedures.
